Community Conversations - Lebanon

Ending stigma starts with a conversation. This is not an academic workshop about stigma. It is a conversation for participants to explore stigma, how we support people with substance use disorder (SUD) and their families, and how we work together in our communities to reduce stigma. This workshop is highly interactive, prioritizing discussion and practical application. Videos and portraits of people with lived experience will be used to facilitate conversation.

Hosted by Tedra Cobb, in partnership with UR Medicine Recovery Center of Excellence, Commmunity Conversations aims to equip individuals with the knowledge to understand and combat stigma, and support those around them.

Info: Those wishing to run their own workshops may attend this additional training, where Tedra will cover how to organize, promote, and facilitate a Community Conversations event. *Note: those wishing to attend this training must have participated in the main workshop, either earlier the day or on a prior date.
