Bauuc will have annual potluck to celebrate gardeners, volunteers, organizers, and future friends.
It’s that time of year again – the dog days of summer. It’s time for a potluck! We hope you and yours can make it to our annual Garden Potluck Lunch on Aug 23rd 11:00 A.M., in Cockrell Hall at the Bay Area Unitarian Church at 17503 El Camino Real, Houston, TX 77058.
Get ready to feast on delicious dishes and cultivate connections. Bring your tastiest dish to share as we gather for a time filled with good food, exciting door prizes, and camaraderie. “Why Native Plants?” is the program that will be presented by Dr. Scott Buckel of the University of Houston, Clear Lake. He is a Master Naturalist and a member of the Clear Lake Native Plant Society.
It's a tradition that everyone leaves with a door prize, so, if you are inspired, bring some garden-related thing, new or gently used, for the prize table. Don't forget to RSVP by August 16.
