Deanery August Camp!

Come join us for August Camp at the Deanery! 🌞🌲🌊

Four days of super fun, hands-on nature exploration with a different environmental focus everyday. Make new friends, develop lifelong skills, and learn about our local ecosystems!

Camp Schedule:
🌲Aug 11 - Into the Woods: Talk all things forest adventure! Learn to build your own wilderness shelter and connect with the plants around us. (This program will be adjusted to suit active provincial restrictions surrounding forest use).

🌊Aug 12 - Intertidal Exploration: Dip your toes in and explore the Shore! Learn about the amazing life between the tides.

🍅Aug 13 - Deanery Dining: Harvest fresh and cook together in our outdoor oven! Learn the stories behind our food.

✂Aug 14 - Sketch-O-Rama: Wonder'neath Art Society from Halifax will be visiting with their brand new sketchbook collection to gather inspiration and sketch your heart out using the natural environment as a guide. We'll also delve into bike safety and create art with repurposed parts of a bicycle!
