The Americana Music Academy has a wonderful program that provides kids without sufficient dinero to get free music lessons and instrument rentals. Last year the Academy provided $17,000 in free lessons/musical rentals. We thought it would be great to throw a benefit to support such a worthy cause. So plese join us at the Vintage Auditorium (the former home of the Lawrence Community Theatre) at 15th and New Hapshire Streets in Lawrence for a full evening of John Prine songs featuring the following Lawrence and Kansas City talent:
