Final Friday with Larry Phillips

This selection of images is focused on moods, first with the varying moods of the smaller northern Wales landscape pieces as reflected in the weather and quality of light depicted. The larger pieces show scenes of an inner, mythic landscape meant to invite the imaginative viewer to step through and have a wander.
Artist Bio
Larry Phillips is a Lawrence-based artist (30+ year resident) focusing primarily on occult and mythical imagery, landscapes, and figure drawing. He mostly works in oils, utilizing limited palettes most of the time and trying to create a sense of depth in these images.
