Battle of Kursk: A Mini Display

We will have a one day only display about the WWII Battle of Kursk (Soviet Union vs Germany). It will be set up in the building just south of our museum here at Ft. Harrison State Park in the Historic Camp Glenn area. (Across from the horse stables).
The Battle of Kursk was the largest tank battle in history, involving some 6,000 tanks, 2,000,000 troops, and 4,000 aircraft. It marked the decisive end of the German offensive capability on the Eastern Front and cleared the way for the great Soviet offensives of 1944–45. The Soviets won the Battle of Kursk and ended Hitler's dream of conquering Russia.
The display will feature uniforms and equipment used by the forces involved in the battle. There is no reenactment but " living historians" are welcome to attend (no overnight accommodations).
There is no charge for this event (or the M20CW museum) however normal Indiana State Park gate fees apply.
