Custom Decorate A Birchwood-Covered Journal in which to 'Write Love Letters to Yourself'

JO’s Oyster Garden is hosting a series of classes with visiting artists, celebrating the beauty of Fall with fine arts & crafts.

Visiting artist Susan Cacici of By The Lake Birch Bark Co., will be instructing on how to embellish birchwood covered journals.

CLASS DETAILS:
In this class, special instructor and birchwood artist, Sue Cacici will guide you through the processes of decorating a birchwood covered journal.

Decorations on hand will include natural items found on the beach and Adirondack mountains. Examples are seaglass, feathers, lichen, pine cones, gems, and acrylic paints to layer and free style artwork.

We will cover the skills of cutting, glueing, arranging, painting, and varnishing.

All materials and instruction are included.
