This event is being held to help raise funds for Laekyn and her family as they navigate the extra expenses they will have over the next 2.5 years as she goes through treatment for B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Laekyn was also diagnosed with Autism and Global Developmental Delay and will need Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and a Nutritionist, funds raised at this event may also help her family in securing and providing these services needed for Laekyn.
Swings Against Leukemia will have sign ups at 9:30AM and the event will start at 11AM.
Love for Laekyn will open at 4PM and bidding can start immediately. We will close bids at 6PM sharp! We will then collect all of the bid slips, and will begin announcing the winning bids, you’ll be able to pay for and collect your items at that time. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and we will announce the winner of that and the winners of the golf event during the same time we are announcing the bid winners. We are hoping to have some “buy it now” items available for those who may not be interested in bidding or who cannot be present for the entire event but would still like to support and contribute! We will also have an open donation box available for cash/checks. There will be a buffet available at this event. For those golfing in the event, your buffet fee is added into your entry fee, and for non-players the buffet will cost $15. You do not have to play in the golf event to have access to the silent auction. We are hoping to have some shirts/hoodies/silicone bracelets for sale at this event, but are waiting to hear back on that at this time, when we have confirmation I will announce those details as well!
