Sneaking up on a Painting - an acrylic painting class with local artist Keith Simmons.

"I often feel that is how my paintings come about. When I start a painting, it always gets to a point where I think it looks absolutely terrible. Then the details and quality begin to form out of the chaos such that it feels like I’m sneaking up on it. I think this painting will be similar for the participants. This piece will portray a part of the Cataloochee River rounding a bend with rocks on the sandbar and backlit trees in the background. Painting trees, rocks and water seems to be something all artists want to master, and this one painting will introduce the participants to all three challenges."

This workshop will have 5-10 adult participants and will have a duration of 2-4 hours. BYOB / snacks.
