Hein Family Singers

FRIENDSHIP INTERNATIONAL presents The Hein Family Singers! Thursday, August 7th, at 1st Congregational Church
506 South 5th Street in Laurel. A potluck dinner at 5:30 p.m. and the concert at 6:30 p.m. are free. A freewill offering will be taken to assist the group with travel expenses.

Alvin and Michelle Hein as well as their children were all born in a small Mennonite colony in Belize and have been singing for several years to¬gether. They recently have included their two oldest children in their program along with one of Alvin’s sisters who will be singing on several songs. If you like country/blue grass, then you’re going to enjoy the Hein family whose music is unique to Belize. Alvin always says Alan Jackson is the man who taught him all he knows about singing and playing country. Their program will consist of a variety of songs country, gospel and hymns. They also want to share what life in a Belizean Mennonite colony is like, as well as Alvin might throw in some stories about his daily life as a rancher and farmer. Bring your friends and neighbors and something yummy to share at the potluck and come for a great afternoon of fellowship and music! We look forward to seeing you there! ~
