Tessellation

In photography, tessellation refers to creating or capturing images with a repeating pattern of one or more shapes that fit together without any gaps or overlaps. Photographers can create tessellations by arranging geometric shapes, often found in architecture or nature, in a repeating pattern. The key principle is the seamless tiling of a surface, whether the shapes are simple polygons like squares or hexagons, or more complex curved forms that interlock to fill space perfectly. We will explore these patterns in the urban landscape, and I will show you how to create tiled patterns and kaleidoscopes from your photo images.
