Launceston birding day out

The Aussie Bird Count starts this October 20, for some practise, join Tasmanian University Environment Society on a day out with Birdlife Tasmania ornithologist Geoff Shannon, observing the beautiful landscapes of our Tamar Valley, and spotting for birds. You will get to practise using binoculars for effective bird spotting, and bird identification using provided resources. Guided by professional advice and an opportunity to ask questions, you will come out with a depth of knowledge about our local bird species.
