Out Of The Shadows Walk - LAUNCESTON (FREE)

At dawn each year, we invite members of our community to walk together and honour those who we have lost to suicide.

Out Of The Shadows Walk enables those whose lives have been touched by suicide to connect with others and feel comfortable to have a conversation about it. We walk together because no one should have to walk through the darkness alone. You can walk to remember a loved one or to show support for those experiencing emotional distress.

We will gather at the Rotunda at 5.45 & our walk will commence at 6am. The walk will take place on paths in the confines of City Park, while Spike Mason will play saxophone to accompany the walk. There will be a minutes silence and a few words from people with lived experience at the conclusion of the walk when tea, coffee and a light breakfast will be served.

This event is FREE - please register your attendance so we can organise catering & logistics.
