Okehampton Skatepark Family Fun Day & SkateJam

And we are up and running! First of our events to raise awareness and funds for our skatepark. The redesign for our park is open for tender and we need to start getting excited!! Please come down and support this project. We have the Skatejam comp being hosted by Skatewarehouse, and amazing prizes. They'll also be offering some coaching tips in the open skate, for those wanting to give it a go. We have time trials on the bike track supported by CycleWorx. We have Room 13 & OCRA on activities. Okehampton Community Kitchen providing delicious snacks. Men in Sheds, James (our fantastic town Park keeper) and our community police getting it all ready for us - the Graffiti competition on the 10th May being organised by them! Please get in touch with us if you would like information on that. With funding from Okehampton United Charities, this is a community event, for the community, by the community. We hope to see loads of you there!
