New Perspectives on the Geological Origns of the Tamar Valley and the Cataract Gorge
Dramatic new insights into the Tamar Valley and Northern Midlands origins based on new 3D geological modelling spanning 40 million years. It’s a powerful interconnected story of geological forces sculpting today’s landscape, leading to a surprising new conclusion on how the Cataract Gorge was formed.

- Free to members of the Royal Society of Tasmania and children under 12 years of age
- $7 General admission, QVMAG & TMAG Friends, Launceston Historical Society members
