Holiday Program: Watercolour Birds (AM session)

Explore the painted birds of Helen Wright through this sketching and watercolour workshop at the Art Gallery at Royal Park.

In this creative workshop we will visit the Shapeshifters exhibition to gain inspiration from birds painted by Tasmanian artist Helen Wright.

We will spend some time sketching before heading back into the Creativity Centre to transform your sketches into a watercolour work you can be proud of.

Please note: This workshop is recommended for children aged 8-12 years, accompanied by their parents.

• Bookings are required for all attendees. Children must be accompanied by a fee-paying adult.
• This activity will be held at the Art Gallery at Royal Park, 2 Wellington Street.
• All tickets are $6pp.
• All materials provided.
• Recommended age 8-12 years old.
• Please feel free to bring a water bottle to the session.
• This is a supervised activity and not a drop-off activity. Parents/guardians are expected to remain present for the duration of the event — and are encouraged to help and join in on the fun.
