I love sharing Embodiment, our signature therapeutic group yoga program helping you to set the foundations to heal the hurt and wounds of trauma and restore goodness. The practice is centered around developing the resources, trust and skills to (re)connect to your body so that you might have a safe and tangible expereince of feeling more like yourself.
During this 7 week program I offer education around what happens in the body when we are disrupted and stuck in the dizzying symptoms of trauma and nervous system dysregulation.
And we practise practical and effective strategies based in yoga, movement, breathwork and Somatic Expereincing to help you:
- Ground and anchor in the present moment
- Build awareness and trust in your body's sensations, emotions, expereinces and innate wisdom
- Relax, rejuvenate, & regulate back to homeostasis
- Create new feel good rhythms
- Make empowering choices
- Self reflect for growth and change so that you can embody your experiences and live the life that you want for yourselves.
Embodiment is for everyone, you don't need to have a trauma diagnosis or even identify with having trauma. I know is sounds corny, but all you need is a body.
Embodiment includes: 1x private session prior to the group to establish goals and familiarise yourself with the practice; 7x weekly group session; extensive learning resources and audio recordings to support home practice.
Investment is $395 including all of the above items.
Meeting weekly on a Tuesday morning at 11:30am at House of Prana on George Street, starting 20th May and ending 1st July.
