Closure of Monvella Rabbitry ♡

I have made the hardest decision to close Monvella Rabbitry 😔💔

The rabbits have been at the very heart of my family for years & our most special intrest & passion, however our circumstances in life leads to this being the right thing for all of us & the buns. Living on farmland hours away from the closest stock feed that supplies rabbit feed, my chronic health struggle & the current life stages of my children are some determining factors & this has been a decision I've truely struggled with making for the past 6 months. We have met some truely beautiful people through the buns, some of you have kept me updated on how your Monvella bun has been going over the years, some of you have followed & supported us since the beginning, you have become people I hope will always stay in touch & I will always be here for you ♡

I am especially hopeful to find a few exhibitors who are willing to take on & continue my special nethie lines who originate from Candylane & Emmerson. I believe the future of Australia's rabbit fancy deserves to be prioritised above all else & we are willing to personally travel to help get them where they need to be, however this is extremely hard for me so please understand that I will need to go through this process at my own pace. All buns will need to be organised to leave early August, once the boat is officially booked I will update with the date if any are to travel to the mainland we will try to meet at a mutually convenient location. We are also willing to do a trip to Hobart for the right situation so please reach out if you feel like any of our rabbits could be an asset to your stud, or you can offer the very best of forever family situations ♡
