Living History – Meet a RAF Polish Officer portayed by Marek
Step back in time with this engaging living history portrayal of a Polish RAF officer and his English wife, brought to life by historical reenactors in authentic wartime dress. They’ll be walking the site and interacting with visitors throughout the weekend. Join Marek as he recounts the officer’s dramatic escape from Poland in 1939, his journey to Britain, and wartime service - along with his wife’s experiences on the Home Front and their shared life during the war. Inspired by real-life stories and family history.
