TeleSAFE will also present an overview of its innovative telehealth model, including the program's history, the dedicated team behind it, the coverage areas, and the exam consultation process. This session offers a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge forensic nursing approaches and expand your professional toolkit.
By the end of this program, participants will be able to:
Explore the implementation of a Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Program in a community hospital emergency department, highlighting leadership strategies, operational challenges, and the best practices for improving patient outcomes.
Introduce participants to the TeleSAFE model, including its history, team structure, coverage areas, and consult process, to enhance understanding of telehealth-supported forensic nursing services.
