The Tale of the Singing Cricket
Cri-Cri, who last appeared on Winchester’s stage in 2015, first appeared on Mexican radio in 1934. The composer, Francisco Gabilondo Soler, became known as Cri-Cri himself and was as popular in Mexico as Walt Disney was in the U.S.
This magnificent production is a tribute to Cri-Cri, the singing cricket, featuring the magical greatest hits of a beloved musician and composer from Veracruz.
