About the event

What's My Dosha? An Intro to Ayurveda with Kandy
"What's my Dosha?" is an introduction to Ayurveda, an ancient Indian holistic system of medicine. Kandy will guide us in understanding what Ayurveda is and how it relates to yoga. Participants will learn their Prakriti, or individual constitution, and discover their Vikruti, or current imbalance. We will learn about body types and which foods and yoga poses support us and which "aggravate" our type. Special seasonal spices will be provided so that each participant will have the opportunity to grind a masala, or blend, to take home! Please make sure to bring your pestle and mortar!
