Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Society to present Sam Barlow & His True Blue Band at its August gathering
LAS CRUCES, NM – Sam Barlow & his True Blue Band will take the stage in Aug at the Mesilla Valley Jazz and Blues Society’s monthly gathering.
Society members and members of the public are invited to head over to Alma d’Arte Charter High School in downtown Las Cruces for a performance full of energizing live blues music on the third Sunday of the month.
Monthly meetings start with a dessert social gathering at 6:30 p.m. followed by a short organization update provided by MVJBS President Carol Mertensmeyer at 7 p.m.
Sam Barlow & his True Blue Band will take over for the rest of the night.
Sam and his True Blue Band perform a wide range of genres including Blues, Jazz, Latin, Rock, Swing and R&B. Barlow is a virtuoso guitarist, harmonicist and vocalist who has worked as a professional musician for 17 years. Internationally-acclaimed and multi award-winning blues artist, Sam Barlow and his True Blue Band electrify the stage and fire-up their audiences. This is a must-attend performance!
Meeting attendance is $5 for members, $10 for non-members and $2 for students at the door.
