Stuck in the grieving process after the sudden passing of her husband Paul, Lotti encounters an unlikely companion in his childhood best friend; a stuffed hare. As they sort through the boxes of memories from Paul’s past, Lotti discovers her strength to move forward.

HARE TODAY is a glimpse of one woman’s struggle with loss and a hopeful reminder that the life we give our stuffed animals can have incredible healing power in the hardest of times, even for adults.

A Cutting of HAre Today was initially Featured at The 2024 O’Neill Puppetry Conference when David was selected to Develop the piece as one of the program’s Three Emerging Artists. The Fallout Fringe will be the first time the show will Be seen in it’s ENTIRETY!

Hare today is not a Puppet show, but a Play with a puppet! While It Explores heavy themes (untimely loss of a loved one) Hare today is also filled with Hope, Heart, and Humor.
