This CLE course will provide training on how to handle a Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) pro bono case, including an overview of the SIJS process for Nevada applicants and the steps to take after an individual is granted SIJS.
Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada's Pro Bono Project will present the course in-person in the Engelstad Family Classroom at Legal Aid Center. Attorneys who refer others to this CLE can receive a free Starbucks gift card.
Nevada-licensed or emeritus-certified attorneys can earn 1.0 general CLE credit by attending. To receive credit, attorneys must be active volunteers with the Pro Bono Project. You can select a case or sign up for Ask-A-Lawyers from www.lacsnprobono.org.
