It begins with a prophecy: The thread unravels, the self divides, one face remembers, the other transforms.We are all pawns of our own destiny. Our choices are the threads that shape it—guiding us toward liberation or binding us in place.
Yet every decision, and every hesitation, is etched into the fabric of chaos.
The Thread, is a contemporary dance work that reimagines the myth of Ariadne and the Minotaur through a modern lens. Ariadne, the thread, and the Minotaur become central figures in a choreography that explores identity, memory, and transformation. The thread becomes more than a guide, it is a symbol of lineage, connection, and the meaning we seek in the labyrinths of life. It speaks of tradition and change, past and possibility.The labyrinth itself, both literal and symbolic, reflects the complex systems we navigate—personal, cultural, and psychological.
Within it dwells the Minotaur: a figure of chaos and the unconscious, mirroring internal and societal conflict.Through the tension between light and shadow, order and disorder, The Thread unravels how we confront complexity and seek clarity, tracing the fine line between fate and freedom.

Όλα ξεκινούν με μια προφητεία: Το νήμα ξετυλίγεται, το εγώ διχάζεται, ένα πρόσωπο θυμάται, το άλλο μεταμορφώνεται. Είμαστε όλοι πιόνια της ίδιας μας της μοίρας. Οι επιλογές μας είναι τα νήματα που τη διαμορφώνουν, οδηγώντας μας είτε προς την απελευθέρωση είτε καθηλώνοντάς μας. Κάθε απόφαση, και κάθε δισταγμός, είναι χαραγμένα στον ιστό του χάους.Το Νήμα είναι ένα έργο σύγχρονου χορού που επαναπροσεγγίζει τον μύθο της Αριάδνης και του Μινώταυρου μέσα από μια σύγχρονη οπτική. Η Αριάδνη, το νήμα και ο Μινώταυρος γίνονται κεντρικές μορφές σε μια χορογραφία που εξερευνά την ταυτότητα, τη μνήμη και τη μεταμόρφωση. Το νήμα γίνεται κάτι περισσότερο από ένας οδηγός — είναι σύμβολο της καταγωγής, της σύνδεσης και του νοήματος που αναζητούμε στους λαβυρίνθους της ζωής.
Το Νήμα καθώς ξετυλίγεται αποκαλύπτει την παράδοση και την αλλαγή, το παρελθόν και τη δυνατότητα του μέλλοντος. Ο λαβύρινθος, τόσο κυριολεκτικός όσο και συμβολικός, αντικατοπτρίζει τα πολύπλοκα συστήματα που καλούμαστε να διασχίσουμε—προσωπικά, πολιτισμικά και ψυχολογικά.
Μέσα του κατοικεί ο Μινώταυρος: μια μορφή του χάους και του ασυνείδητου, καθρέφτης των εσωτερικών και κοινωνικών συγκρούσεων.Μέσα από την ένταση ανάμεσα στο φως και το σκοτάδι, την τάξη και την αταξία, Το Νήμα ξετυλίγει το πώς ερχόμαστε αντιμέτωποι με την πολυπλοκότητα και αναζητούμε τη διαύγεια, ιχνηλατώντας την λεπτή γραμμή ανάμεσα στη μοίρα και την ελευθερία.
