Finance & Money Basics (5-Week Course)
Overview:
In this fun and interactive 5-week course, students will explore the essential concepts of money and personal finance. Through hands-on activities, real-world examples, and creative projects, students will learn how money is earned, saved, spent, and invested. Each week will build on their knowledge, helping them develop smart money habits and a strong financial foundation for the future.

The history and purpose of money
How people earn income and start businesses
Budgeting essentials: needs vs. wants, planning expenses
The importance of saving and how banks work
Making smart spending choices and understanding advertising
An introduction to investing and the basics of risk and reward

Each session combines short lessons, discussions, and creative, practical activities like designing their own currency, running a mock business, managing a $100 budget, and picking "stocks" in a simple investment game.
