Join Dorothy for a wonderful class on how to weave using a Rigid Heddle Loom. Dorothy will take you from beginning steps to full-speed-ahead weaving as you create this beautiful pillow cover in this one-session workshop. Learn how to prepare this simple loom for weaving, then learn basic and advanced techniques, including plain weave, brocade, twining, and soumak. Lastly, we will cover the methods for constructing your unique and personal pillow cover.

Materials Provided: Rigid Heddle loom 15" wide, 8 dent reed

Materials Needed: several shuttles, broad pick up stick, Weft background color 320 yards total worsted weight yarn and 150 yards total of one or several colors for pattern colors
