This documentary tells the real-life David vs. Goliath story of Xicano students at Michigan State University. Through Movimiento Estudiantil Xicano de Aztlán (MEXA), grassroots agitation, and community organizing, these students fought tirelessly to establish a Xicano/Latino Studies program. Despite relentless attacks and attempts to silence them, they refused to back down.
