RIDE: West Virginia Fall Colors Ride

This should be good timing for Fall colors in West Virginia.
Leave Knoxville Tennessee on Friday and ride up through Virginia to Princeton, WVa where we will spend the night at Hampton Inn, 277 Meadowfield Lane, Princeton, WV. 24740. (304)431-2580. (Book arrival on Friday 10/17 with checkout on 10/19).
On the 17th, we will be riding North avoiding interstate travel to Shady Valley and riding the Back of the Dragon to Princeton. On the 18th, we will be traveling in the Monongahela National Forest seeing Fall colors. Also, Saturday’s ride will be up around Marlinton and the Snowshoe Ski resort area. The return ride on Sunday will be avoiding the interstate for the most part with the option to jump on the big road if you need to expedite your trip home.
Friday’s ride to Princeton should be about 300 miles. The scenic ride on Saturday about 200 to 250 miles. The return trip on Sunday about 250 miles.
