Some of you may remember the fundraiser cookout we held this past spring to raise money for a park grill & picnic tables in honor of Lora Young.

We’re excited to share that the new grill has been installed in the Lansing Creeper Trail Park at the covered picnic shelter! Now it’s time to break it in the best way we know how, with a community cookout! There will be BBQ chicken, Brunswick stew, baked beans, & more.

Let’s gather around this new grill to celebrate Lora's legacy, share some stories, and keep her spirit alive in the heart of Lansing.
