July 2025 Grand River Connection: Lansing Brewing Company

Grand River Connection is a series of professional networking events for young professionals seeking to develop a stronger connection with others in the community to support Lansing's young and vital workforce.

About the Venue - One of the first breweries in Michigan’s Capitol city, the Lansing Brewing Company supplied craft beer to artisans, laborers and tradesmen as they built our city over a century ago. Opened a year after Ransom E. Olds’ historic automobile ride down a city street in 1897, the Lansing Brewing Company welcomed its first customers.

Fast forward 100 years to the resurrection of the Lansing Brewing Company brand. We stand ready to take our rightful spot as the lone full-scale production brewery in the city of Lansing. Ready to brew beer people talk about. Ready to get the old beer wagon fired up to deliver beer near and far. Ready, once again, to change the landscape of downtown Lansing.
