International Day of Clogging - Michigan

Come celebrate the International Day of Clogging with your Michigan clogging family! Every year we'll be hosting a fundance in a different city around the state- our inaugural event was in Jackson, and this year we're headed to the state capital!

Our first stop will be at the Capitol building at 3:00, where we'll dance on the Capitol steps. This is a tradition that cloggers in many other states have done when their state proclaimed August 8th the official Day of Clogging. You can find our proclamation online here:

Then we'll head over to the Lansing Shuffle (a quick 10-15 minute walk from the Capitol building) for a fundance on the patio beginning at 5:30!

The Lansing Shuffle is a food court with many different local food and drink options. Feel free to grab dinner and drinks while you're there! The fundance will be outdoors on their spacious riverfront patio. More information on the venue can be found here:

We'll have the framed official proclamation at the fundance for photo ops. The mic will be open for anyone who wants to cue, so get your song requests ready!
