About the Summit

The Bridging Opportunities Summit is a one-day experience designed to connect, elevate, and empower BIPOC (and allied) professionals in economic development, community building, and small business support from across Michigan.

Held in Michigan’s capital city, this event centers on shared experiences, bold conversations, and collaborative strategies to advance equity in the work we do every day. Through panels, interactive sessions, and storytelling, attendees will explore how we can build communities that are inclusive, innovative, and economically just.

Whether you're shaping policy, managing programs, supporting entrepreneurs, designing equitable spaces, or just entering the field, then this summit is for you.
