Director Adam Carlson is holding auditions for this contemporary dark fable.
Auditions will be cold reads from scripts. If unable to attend audition date, please contact us to provide a video audition prior.
Rehearsals will be weekday evenings and begin shortly after casting.
Performances are February 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 & March 1
Roles available are:
Katurian: 20s-30s. Author of disturbing short stories, often involving children. He is accused of kidnapping and murdering children, but he has no idea why.
Tupolski: 30s-60s. Lead detective on a case of missing children. Always in control of any situation.
Ariel: 20s-40s. The younger detective on the case. Very emotional. Willing to cross the line to protect children.
Michal: 20s-30s. Katurian's older brother. He's "slow to get things" due to physical abuse as a child. He loves Katurian's stories. Always chipper, even in horrible situations.
Father: 20s-40s. One actor to play three fathers in fables about mistreated children.
Mother: 20s-40s. One actress to play three mothers in fables about mistreated children.
Boy/Girl: Late teens-20s. One actress to play three children about 13 years old: a boy who is tortured by his parents; a girl who thinks she is Jesus reincarnated; and a mute girl.
