Father’s Day weekend Philadelphia will become the epicenter of sports and entertainment as the National Thoroughbred League (NTL) presents two unforgettable events: the Philadelphia Cup and the inaugural Philly Special Golf Charity Invitational. Hosted by NBA legend and Philadelphia Stallions co-owner Dr. J (Julius Erving) this powerhouse weekend celebrates champions across every sport from the NFL and NBA to golf and soccer.  

NTL is a first-of-its-kind racing league reimagining America’s oldest spectator sport by creating a team-based professional sports league by consistently and safely running horses allowing fans the chance to root for the same stars’ month after month and year after year. NTL is also a lifestyle creating weekends of food fashion and fun akin to the Kentucky Derby or Formula 1. The league has an impressive roster of celebrity investors including Lamar Jackson Julius “Dr. J” Erving Tanya Tucker Rick Ross Jarobi White and more.

• June 14: The Philly Special Golf Charity Invitational | 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM | Middletown Country Club  
• We’re taking over the legendary 112-year-old Middletown Country Club—a Golf Digest “Best Places to Play” and home to champions past and present for a great cause. Join Dr. J Eagles legends and NTL insiders for a one-of-a-kind 18-hole team scramble. Each foursome represents an NTL team with prizes giveaways and a post-match awards celebration in the classic clubhouse. The dinner theme will be "Best of Philly"! There will be a fundraiser and all proceeds will go to Turning For Home which is a non-profit organization that revolutionized the way racehorse retirement is approached and is the model Thoroughbred Racehorse aftercare program.

• Celebrate Father’s Day with fast-paced team racing and Philly pride.
