I’d like to invite everyone to come out this Friday, November 21st, to Bravery Brewery from 5:00–8:00 PM for the release of the Veteran 6 “Deep 6” IPA. This is a great opportunity for us to support a meaningful cause, connect with the community, and proudly represent the Antelope Valley Desert Divers.
In addition to the beer release, Bravery has selected Veteran 6 as their “Pizza with Purpose” organization for the entire month of November. That means for every pizza sold this month, Bravery will donate $1 to Veteran 6. It’s another simple (and delicious) way for our members to support the mission.
Veteran 6 will have a table set up during the event, and we as AVDD will also be there—both to help share their mission and to promote our club. I encourage all members to stop by, say hello, and help us show strong support for both organizations.
For those who may not be familiar, Veteran 6’s mission is to empower veterans with service-connected injuries to reclaim strength, purpose, and hope through adaptive sports and holistic healing. With scuba diving at the heart of their work, they help veterans build resilience, discover new purpose, and improve the well-being of mind, body, and spirit.
This mission aligns closely with our own core values of Educate, Support, and Conserve. By standing alongside Veteran 6, we not only uplift an organization doing incredible work—we also strengthen our connection to the diving community and the veterans we proudly serve.

Talk about how both organizations benefit veterans through scuba diving
Build new connections within our community
And grab a pizza that supports a great cause!
