By the divine will of the Muses, under the auspices of harmony and groove, and in accordance with the cultural prosperity of our modern Empire,
A GRAND JAM OF JAZZ shall be held upon the eve of Quintilis Septimus (August 7th), in the Year of Our City 2025.
Trumpets shall sound, saxophones shall soar, and rhythm shall reign. Let no soul be idle nor ear unenchanted. All who possess the spirit of syncopation are called forth to partake—be they citizen, senator, or slave to the beat.
