Our group has been invited to play in Korsmo Construction’s 2025 FORE Tacoma Golf Tournament at Meadow Park! This tournament, founded in 2019, has quickly become one of the most popular golf events in town and is already completely sold out for the year—but thanks to Korsmo, we have a spot reserved just for us!
We’ll be playing The Williams Nine (9-hole course, shotgun start) with a 3:30pm tee time on August 1st, followed by dinner and an awards ceremony at 6pm. Everything is covered by Korsmo. I’d love to see a big crew out there—let’s show up strong with 15–20 of us!
About FORE Tacoma:
Originally named FORE Eastside, this annual benefit tournament was started in 2018 by Korsmo Construction, First Tee - South Puget Sound, Tacoma Parks Foundation, and Meadow Parks Foundation, in partnership with the Billy Ray Shirley, III Foundation.
The tournament honors Billy Ray Shirley, III, a Tacoma youth whose dream of opening a community center inspired the creation of the Eastside Community Center. Thanks to the dedication of his family, friends, and community partners like Korsmo Construction, that dream became a reality in 2018. Today, the tournament supports vital organizations in the region. This year’s beneficiaries are the Billy Ray Shirley, III Foundation and the Asia Pacific Cultural Center.
FORE Tacoma has a new name and an even bigger impact—supporting youth, families, and culture across Tacoma and the South Sound.
