Spring into Fun - Free Family Event

Families with young children are invited to “spring into fun” at a free, garden-themed activity event hosted by the Pierce County Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC) and Pierce County Parks on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Lakewood Community Center, 9112 Lakewood Dr SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.

This inclusive event is specially designed for children from birth to age 5, with hands-on, garden-inspired activities that support learning and development at all levels. Families can enjoy activities that include sensory play, water play, crafts, gross and fine motor games, and story time—all tailored to engage young children of all abilities.

In addition to the fun, families will have the opportunity to connect with local organizations that offer resources and services for children and families beyond early intervention. Spanish and ASL interpreters will be available to ensure all families feel welcome and supported.
