Informal Draft Practice

Please take note that we will be switching to Saturdays for our group practice sessions.

Informal draft practice at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood.
Please follow the directions specifically for the address given in this event entry as the park has multiple parking lots. This address will take you directly to the parking lot where we will meet.
During the heat of the summer, we will start practice at 9 am - please take note of this change!
We have reserved this park for our September 13-14 draft tests, so in August we will hold all our twice monthly practice sessions at this park.
The bathrooms are a bit of a hike from our practice area, so you may want to stop at the bathroom on the way in.

We will help anyone with questions or requesting help starting at 11 am, so please come prior to that to watch practicing teams pulling carts, let your dog acclimate, and get ready.
Bring lots of treats!

Draft practice open to all!

If you want to practice with other people and carts around, please come!
If you want to practice other dog sports or socialization, please come!
If you want to just hang out with the cool dogs and people who enjoy doing stuff with their dogs, please come!
Club membership, equipment or Berner ownership not required!
