Belmar Summer Cruiser Rides

Alameda Connects and Belmar announce the return of family friendly Summer Cruiser Bike Rides in 2025! Rides are scheduled for Saturdays this summer – June 21, July 19, and August 16.

Embrace the spirit of camaraderie and adventure with the Belmar Cruiser Bike Rides. These rides are designed for cyclists of all ages and skill levels, offering a unique opportunity to explore the vibrant streets of Lakewood while connecting with fellow biking enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a casual cruiser, our events promise fun, laughter, and lasting memories. Join us as we pedal towards a healthier, more connected community.

Each fun ride begins and ends on the west end of the Belmar Plaza at Upham Street and will have a theme such as public art, local history or neighborhoods. Riders meet at 6:30PM and rides leave at 7. The rides are family friendly and about an hour long. Helmets are recommended for adults and anyone age 16 or under is required to wear a helmet for safety.
