A strong foundation is essential if you want to build a structure that lasts. That’s why this year, at our 25th Annual Gathering & Convention, we’re looking back at the theological and historical foundations of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ and exploring how our diverse association of congregations continues to build upon those foundations today.
No matter the size of your congregation, where you’re located, your demographic makeup, or which area(s) of ministry you might be strongest in, each congregation has an important role to play in carrying out the Great Commission that Jesus set forth in Matthew 28. In spite of the characteristics that make each congregation unique, we are all united under a common purpose and rooted in the work and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Throughout this four day event, you’ll be able to:
- Hear from some of the founding members of LCMC, and explore how and why members of our community choose to call LCMC home
- Connect and build relationships with other people in our association
- Find opportunities for training and networking
- Take part in worship and Bible study
- Join us in celebrating our 25th anniversary
Additionally, we will be wishing outgoing LCMC Service Coordinator Mike Bradley a happy retirement and installing our new service coordinator, Julie Smith.
The event takes place October 5-8, 2025 at Hosanna Church in Lakeville, Minnesota, and the deadline to register is September 15. Please visit our website for more information and to register.
We look forward to seeing you there!
