Seedlings Theatre Company is proud to be working alongside Improductions again to bring this hilarious improv inspired adaptation of the beloved The Princess Bride movie to the stage!
This production marks the start of our newest partnership as the resident theatre company of The Hub NWI, an extraordinary nonprofit art and technology space conveniently located between Valparaiso, Crown Point, Winfield, and Lakes of the Four Seasons in Northwest Indiana.
The Cliffnotes of Insanity by M. Ray Robinson and directed by Nelson Velazquez and Becky Jascoviak combines the best of the characters and quotes of The Princess Bride with the fun and often quirky layers of improv to create a 30+ minute version of The Princess Bride adapted for the stage.
Auditions are July 21-22, 2025 from 7-8:30 pm with Performances scheduled for September 19, 20, 26, 27, 2025 at The Hub NWI, 676 W Division, Hebron IN. Parking in the back.
Auditions are open to participants age 16-96. There is nothing to prepare specifically as we will do some improv and script readings. Perhaps if you knew some of the famous movie quotes you might find them useful :) Auditionees only need come one night. Rehearsals are planned for once a week in July/August and twice a week in September.
