2025 Watermelon Festival

Celebrate your unique sweetness at the 3rd annual Watermelon Festival! May 3, 2025 Activities run from 10 am to 3 pm. Musuem closes at 5 pm.

Celebrate the rich tradition of watermelon farming in Central Florida, play for free at dozens of hands-on activities at Bonnet Springs Park’s Great Lawn, and cool off inside Florida Children’s Museum while you curate your own world.

This event is a pay what you can day- meaning participation is free. Every dollar donated supports museum operation and programming.
