Wildflower Walks on Buttermilk Bend Trail

Join us on spring weekends for docent-led wildflower walks! See tufted poppies, lupines, larkspur, fiddlenecks, popcorn flowers and others in a mosaic of colors that changes through the season. Spot the large black and blue Pipevine Swallowtail butterflies fluttering from flower to flower.

Meet at 10:00 a.m. every Saturday and Sunday through Mother's Day, at the Buttermilk Bend Trailhead on the east side of Pleasant Valley Road in Bridgeport, South Yuba River State Park. Please note, walks may be cancelled without notice due to inclement weather or docent availability; you may call the Visitor Center at (530) 432-2546 to confirm beforehand.

When: Saturdays and Sundays through Mother's Day, 10:00 a.m.
