What You’ll Learn
In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to nurture and maintain your own bubbly sourdough starter — and take home a jar to continue your baking journey. I’ll demonstrate essential artisan techniques like stretch & folds, scoring, and shaping, with the opportunity for a couple of volunteers to try them hands-on. You’ll also discover why long fermentation is so beneficial for gut health, all while enjoying fresh-baked bread paired with your choice of wine and a charcuterie cup from Board In Birmingham.
