Touch-a-Torch

Join the Lake Placid Olympic Museum as we celebrate the start of the 2026 Winter Olympic torch relay with a free Touch-a-Torch program!

Stop in to explore Lake Placid’s Olympic history and its connection to the upcoming Winter Games, and try holding an authentic 1980 Olympic torch.

The program will take place at the Museum Learning Center, 2640 Main Street, Lake Placid (the former There & Back Again).
