LAKE MILLS CITY BAND TO PRESENT HOLIDAY CONCERT ON DECEMBER 20.

On Saturday, December 20 at 2:00 pm, the
band will present its fifth annual holiday concert in the Lake Mills High School Auditorium. Also performing for the third year will be the LMCB Jazz, a separate group composed of City Band members.

Just as during the summer months, the band members enjoy the opportunities they have to play and entertain the community. The band has been fortunate to see its numbers grow each year over the last few years, reaching a high point of over 50 members last summer.

Band members range in age from middle school students to senior citizens, illustrating that music can be a lifelong passion. Band members enjoy making music together and they enjoy sharing it with appreciative audiences.

The concert program will include traditional Christmas music and some pieces that stretch the definition of holiday music. The Band will also ask the audience to join in on some very popular and recognizable holiday pieces.

The Band looks forward to seeing you on December 20 at the high school auditorium. Admission is free.
