WAIT House Sets Sail for a Cause: Family-Friendly Pirate-Themed Sunset Dinner Cruise to Support Homeless Youth
Lake George, NY – May 16, 2025 – WAIT House invites the community to embark on a high-seas adventure this May with a pirate-themed Sunset Dinner Cruise aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrament—all in support of local homeless youth. This family-friendly event promises a night of entertainment, breathtaking views, and charitable giving to aid youth in crisis.
Guests will enjoy a buffet dinner, cash bar, silent auction, and exciting surprises, with entertainment provided by the talented Cyndie Wade. The evening will also feature face painting, a treasure hunt, and bingo with prizes for kids and adults, making it a fun-filled event for all ages. So don your best pirate attire and get ready to set sail for a night of adventure!
WAIT House has been a pillar of support for homeless youth ages 16-24, providing emergency and transitional housing, street outreach, anti-trafficking services, rental assistance, mental health support, and more. Since opening in 2003, the organization has served over 2,700 youth and 250 households, offering vital resources and a safe place for those in need.
